We are officially open to the public as of 07/08/2026!

The Richards Library is resuming regularly scheduled hours. We were approved by Warren County Building Code Enforcement for the public to return. However, not all of the repairs from the Emergency Closure (as of 02/09/2026) are completed. We may need to briefly close for some repairs, i.e. main door installation. We also have our Chimney Cap Restoration Project ongoing this summer, which will temporarily affect front door access. Please have patience with us as we are reopening and wrapping up repairs. Thank you!

July 7, 2026 Board Meeting

The July Board Meeting will be held at The Richards Library in the Jeffrey M. Levine Community Room at 10:00 AM. The full meeting packet is located on our Library Board, Staff and Meeting Documents page of our website: https://therichardslibrary.com/about-us/library-board-staff-and-meeting-minutes/

The public was approved to enter the Library again by Warren County Building Code Enforcement. The public is welcome to attend the meeting (only) on Tuesday. The Library will resume regular hours for the public soon!

We can accept returns again!

If the return bin is full, please bring your materials back another time. Staff will be here in the morning (M-F), and available to answer phone calls.

Any accrued overdue fines will be waived as of 2/9/2026. Patrons are responsible for any damaged materials.

We will resume holds for patrons at our Library once we reopen. Holds can temporarily be sent to another member library by changing the pickup branch when placing holds through your online account, or by contacting that library directly. Wi-Fi is still available from Library Avenue.
