“Local residents can improve their career skills for free thanks to a recently expanded schedule of online workshops offered through Capital Region Career Centers.
The staff at Warren County Department of Workforce Development/Warren County Career Center have worked with their counterparts around the Capital Region to put together workshops that focus on assisting job seekers in bettering their career outlook. The monthly calendar of classes was recently expanded to add one that focuses on networking. It was well received during the first offering in January, with 30 people signing up to take part.
Additional workshops focus on use of social media effectively for your career; developing your best resume; overcoming barriers to employment and more.

These classes are part of the monthly offerings from Capital Region Career Centers, a group of local county and city-based Career Centers and partners that includes Warren County Career Center. Those who miss February’s offerings can check back in March as well.
The consortium coordinates services to address the workforce needs of the Greater Capital Region by providing a variety of career and workforce resources, training opportunities, and more.”
