As you know, you can print wirelessly to our Black & White printer from your i-phone (or similar device), laptop or PC. However, what you probably didn’t know is our address for this service has changed. If you want to print wirelessly from your device, send it as an attachment to richlibrary@hpeprint.com…that’s richlibrary@hpeprint.com. Greetings to All of Our Patrons!

This year the Richards Library is upgrading its Summer Reading Program by utilizing an on-line registration and books read program called Readsquared. All parents need to do is to go to: richardslibny11.readsquared.com and register their child for this program.

The program is open to children who have completed grades K-5 as of June 24th of this year. Registration will begin on June 25th and run through July 15th.

As soon as each child is registered, they can begin reading. Children in grades K-2 may read any picture book; children in grades 3-5 may read easy chapter books and any graphic novel. As each book is completed, the parent and child can log into their Readsquared account and list the completed book.

The Summer Reading Program will end on 6 September 2021. A certificate of completion and yard sign will be given to each child who has registered for the program. Those in each grade level that have read the most books, will receive a special certificate, yard sign and a $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble Bookstore.
